is a program for preschool through 6th grade that meets Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00 PM during the school year. (Middle school and high school AWANA programs are also supported.) AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen are not Ashamed,” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. The goal is to reach children with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.  Each club night offers a fun-filled game program, Bible memorization and a speaker for kids, along with songs and special music. Awards are earned for activities and memorization completed. AWANA begins after the weekly family dinner served at 5:30 PM. To find out more about AWANA itself, can visit their site here

is hands-down the most fun week of a child’s summer!  VBS is for preschool through 5th grade and is offered every summer for one week in June. This year, VBS takes place June 4-8. We begin at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. Online registration is open until May 31! We also generally have volunteer spots for middle and high schoolers to help lead the younger kids. Contact us for more information on volunteer availability and requirements.

GEMS Girls' club

is held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month (and November 30). First through fifth grade girls meet at Marshdale Elementary's library to make friends, be encouraged and learn how to live like Jesus. Contact Michelle Schroeder for more information!

are periodically held throughout the year for families with children in the community. It is important for us to reach our neighbors with a loving hand and welcome them to join us! Some ways we do this are through fall festivals, egg hunts at Easter and summer picnics! Please drop in any time -- we look forward to meeting you!

If you have any questions, please feel free contact the church office or Debbie Stewart, Interim Director of Children's Ministries, or just stop by at the KidZone station downstairs on Sunday morning.

We’re getting our hands dirty in our community at Evergreen Lake, downtown Evergreen, and Marshdale. We’ll spend a half-day serving these areas through projects to clean up some beautiful public areas.

On Mother’s Day, GEMS Girls Club will be hosting a bake sale as a fundraiser for the next school year. They will also have special Mother’s Day treats for sale. Please come ready to support this sweet ministry!

DV8 Student Ministries still has some buckets available! These “Welcome Buckets” were created with new neighbors in mind.

Why not invite family, friends and neighbors for movie night? The Aspen Ridge Church library has some new Christian-friendly, inspirational and educational DVD movies for adults and children that are available for a one-week checkout.

Please join us for a Family Services Weekend on March 24/25, where we will be focusing on families during regular services.
